Midsole

The Rivera has a Slim FootShape™ fit that provides a snug, comfortable fit for training and competition. A slightly harder foam is used in the midsole with good energy return. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and significantly increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning.

Upper

The upper is made of technical knitted mesh. The breathability of the upper keeps your feet comfortable. Altra's Fit4Her™ technology ensures that the shoe conforms to the unique shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, as well as a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique metatarsal distance.

Outsole
