Altra Provision 8 Women

Each Altra shoe is built on a Balanced Cushioned platform that positions the heel and forefoot equidistant from the ground, so with 0mm offset, or ZeroDrop™. This natural foundation encourages better alignment, a better running style and a low-impact landing. Whether you prefer maximum cushioning, low cushioning or something in between, Balanced Cushioning lets your feet move naturally with every step.

Midsole

With its Standard FootShape™ fit, the Provision offers enough space for the foot to move naturally. The midsole is made from Altra's EGO™ foam, which is designed to make your run as comfortable as possible, no matter how far you run. It is a slightly harder foam that returns sufficient energy efficiency. The Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the foam. This is the grid of slots that cut through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This makes the shoe lighter and more flexible without sacrificing cushioning. When you start to get tired, the shoe uses the GuideRail™ support system, which provides support and pronation control, while not bothering you during normal running. To top it all off, the ORTHOLITE™ insole ensures comfortable entry with long-lasting cushioning. Open cells in the sole keep your feet cool while running.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot. Featuring Altra's Fit4Her™ technology, the upper is designed to fit the specific shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique midfoot spacing.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. FootPod™ technology is incorporated into the outsole. This maps the bones and tendons of the foot and ensures that the shoe can bend and move naturally. The Altra Provision 8, the all-rounder you can count on every run!
