Altra FWD Experience Women

Midsole

The ALTRAFWD EXPERIENCE has a Standard FootShape™ fit, which does not restrict the movement of the foot, but still fits comfortably around the foot. The midsole is made of a Compression-molded EVA foam. This foam is specially designed to make your run as comfortable as possible, regardless of the distance. It is a sturdy lightweight foam with good cushioning and energy return. Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the midsole. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces weight and significantly increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ insole provides soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole consists of open cells, which makes the sole breathable and ensures that your feet stay cool. The midsole not only ensures a smooth and natural transition between the forefoot and the heel, but also has a rocker shape.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot. Altra's Fit4Her™ technology ensures that the shoe conforms to the unique shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, as well as a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique metatarsal distance.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. FootPod™ technology is incorporated into the outsole.
