Midsole

A compression-molded EVA foam midsole provides a comfortable ride, regardless of the distance. It is a firm, lightweight foam with good cushioning and energy return. The Experience Wild has the Standard FootShape™ fit. This fit gives the foot enough space to move naturally. The rocker shape of the midsole encourages a smooth and natural transition between heel and forefoot. The Innerflex™ technology has been applied to the midsole. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces the weight and significantly increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning. Finally, the ORTHOLITE™ insole offers soft step-in comfort and long-lasting cushioning. The sole consists of open cells, which makes the sole breathable and ensures that your feet stay cool.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has a high breathability in the forefoot. Altra's Fit4Her™ technology ensures that the shoe adapts to the unique shape of the female foot, which has a narrower heel and midfoot, as well as a higher instep, a longer arch and a unique midfoot distance. The upper of the Experience Wild is made of mengineered meshesh, which makes it very comfortable to wear while running. The toe area is reinforced for extra protection against bumps and sharp objects.
