Midsole

To make your runs as comfortable as possible, Altra has added a CMEVA midsole. The CMEVA midsole has enormous cushioning and offers effective protection during your runs, no matter what type of run it is. The material is therefore very responsive and provides a lot of comfort. The Experience Flow has a Standard FootShape™ fit, which does not restrict the movement of the foot, but still fits comfortably around the foot. The foam has Innerflex™ technology. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces the weight and dramatically increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides flexibility and breathability in strategic places while the shoe fits a little tighter in other places. The shoe is slightly tighter around the midfoot for a secure and supportive feel. The OrthoLite® sockliner provides a comfortable step-in comfort with long-lasting cushioning. Open cells in the sole keep your feet cool while running.

Outsole

The shoe's rubber outsole provides good grip and traction while running. Because the FootPod™ technology is incorporated into the outsole, the shoe can naturally bend and move in response to your foot movements.
