Midsole

To make your runs comfortable, Altra has added a CMEVA midsole that provides plenty of cushioning and effective protection while running. The Experience Flow has a Standard FootShape™ fit, which does not restrict the movement of the foot, but still fits comfortably around the foot. The foam has Innerflex™ technology. This is a grid of slots that cuts through the entire midsole, both vertically and horizontally. This reduces the weight and dramatically increases the flexibility of the shoe without sacrificing cushioning.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has a high breathability in the forefoot. This shoe also has an OrthoLite® insole. This insole offers a soft step-in comfort and thus provides long-term cushioning. OrthoLite® has an open-cell foam that ensures that the shoe is breathable on the inside and keeps your feet cool.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the shoe provides good grip and traction while running. The outsole contains the FootPod™ technology. This maps the bones and tendons of the foot and ensures that the shoe can bend and move naturally.
