Part of adidas' Run for the Oceans collection, this product is made from yarn made with Parley Ocean Plastic: recycled plastic waste intercepted from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and coastlines that prevents pollution of our oceans.

Midsole

This model features adidas' Light BOOST foam. This foam is extremely light due to its unique molecular design. The design consists of hundreds of BOOST capsules that are packed with energy, comfort and ultimate cushioning. These small capsules together provide a boost with every step you take. The Light BOOST cushioning material is very resistant to temperature changes, so you experience maximum cushioning in both warm and cold weather. Thanks to the Linear Energy Push system, the midfoot and forefoot are slightly stiffer. This means you use less energy per step and you get an extra push during your push-off.

Upper

The Ultraboost Light GTX has a PRIMEKNIT+ upper that is made from 90% recycled materials. With a High Performance upper, the shoe offers great comfort and ease of wearing because it consists of one seamless whole. The Ultraboost Light GTX has a Gore-Tex® upper to protect the shoe against rain and mud. Regardless of the planned adventure, the shoe will be protected against rain and mud by the Gore-Tex® upper.

Outsole

The outsole of this shoe is made of Continental™ WinterGrip™ from the tire brand of the same name.
