This product is part of adidas' Primegreen label. Primegreen consists of a range of high-performance materials, made from recycled components to deliver a more sustainable product.

Midsole

The Lightstrike foam in the midsole provides good cushioning and energy return while running. This foam provides a super comfortable feeling during your run. A protection plate in the midsole creates a buffer against rocks without weighing down the shoes. This allows you to tackle the most dangerous trails with a safe feeling. The plate also helps you move nimbly on the trail paths.

Upper

The mesh upper keeps the shoe breathable and comfortable. Furthermore, the upper is synthetic with a protective layer of TPU, which makes the shoe wear-resistant and suitable for rough terrains. Finally, the upper consists of 50% recycled materials. In this way, among other things, adidas tries to make its products more and more sustainable. To keep the tongue centered and prevent dirt from entering the shoe, a pleated tongue is connected to both sides of the upper.
