Midsole

The Lightstrike foam in the midsole provides good cushioning and energy return while running. This foam provides a super comfortable feeling during your run. A protection plate in the midsole provides a buffer against rocks without adding extra weight, so you can tackle even the most dangerous trails. The plate also helps you move agilely over the trail paths.

Upper

The mesh upper of the Terrex Trailrider keeps the shoe breathable and comfortable. The shoe also features a Gore-Tex® membrane and keeps rain, mud and debris out during every adventure. Furthermore, the upper is synthetic with a protective layer of TPU, which makes the shoe wear-resistant and suitable for rough terrain. Finally, adidas uses 50% recycled materials in the upper to reduce the impact on the environment. The pleated tongue of this shoe is attached to the upper on both sides, so that no dirt can get into the shoe and the tongue remains centered.

Outsole
