Midsole

The Lightstrike foam in the midsole provides good cushioning and energy return while running. The foam provides a super comfortable feeling under the foot. A protection plate in the midsole provides a buffer against rocks without adding extra weight, so you can tackle even the most dangerous trails. The plate also helps you move nimbly on the trail paths.

Upper

The mesh upper of the Terrex Trailrider has good breathability and the shoe is waterproof thanks to Gore-Tex® in the upper. Furthermore, the upper is synthetic with a protective layer of TPU, which makes the shoe wear-resistant and suitable for rough terrains. Finally, the upper consists of 50% recycled materials. In this way, among other things, adidas tries to make its products more and more sustainable. The pleated tongue of this shoe is attached to the upper on both sides, so that no dirt can enter the shoe and the tongue remains centered.

Outsole
