Midsole

Due to the good cushioning and energy return of the Lightstrike foam, the footbed feels very comfortable while running. A protection plate in the midsole provides a buffer against rocks without adding extra weight, so you can tackle even the most dangerous trails. The plate also helps you move nimbly on the trail paths.

Upper

The Terrex Trailrider's mesh upper keeps the shoe breathable and comfortable. The shoe also features a Gore-Tex® membrane and keeps rain, mud and debris out during any adventure. Furthermore, the upper is synthetic with a protective layer of TPU, which makes the shoe wear-resistant and suitable for rough terrains. Finally, adidas uses 50% recycled materials in the upper to reduce its impact on the environment. The pleated tongue of this shoe is attached to the upper on both sides, so that no dirt can enter the shoe and the tongue remains centered.

Outsole
