The Primegreen upper consists of at least 50% recycled material. The mesh upper is single layered in strategic areas and has an attached tongue for flexibility, breathability and comfort.

The midsole consists of Light Boost material over its entire length, which ensures a lower weight and greater energy return compared to the Solarboost 5. For extra stability and support, adidas has placed a Control platform made of EVA material at the heel. This is firm and encloses the heel and midfoot. The plastic Linear Energy Push system ensures a smooth transition from heel to foot.

The outsole consists entirely of Continental rubber for excellent grip and durability. This makes the Solarboost 5 the ideal shoe for many training kilometers.
