Midsole

Lightweight cushioning with increased energy return is provided by the Lightstrike and Lightstrike Pro foams. This combination of foam materials allows the Adizero SL j to be used during tempo training and competitions. Lightstrike provides more stability and ground contact with every step, while Lightstrike Pro ensures high energy return.

Upper

The Engineered Mesh upper provides support in strategic places around the midfoot and has high breathability in the forefoot. adidas also uses 50% recycled materials in the upper to reduce its impact on the environment. Reinforcement has been added to the bottom of the heel counter, while the top remains flexible, soft and comfortable, so that your heel bone does not come under pressure.
