Midsole

This shoe is equipped with adidas' ultra-light Lightstrike Pro foam. This cushioning material stores more energy than any other cushioning material adidas has developed so far. It then returns almost all the energy, so very little energy is lost. The super light cushioning provides next-level speed. Between the foam material there is a Carbon plate under the heel and EnergyRods that are enriched with carbon under the forefoot. The EnergyRods follow the anatomy of the forefoot. They return a lot of energy and offer flexibility. This means you experience a very energetic and reactive push-off. The Carbon plate in the heel absorbs the impact during a heel landing.
