The adidas Adistar 2 is a neutral all-round running shoe. The Adistar was born from the idea of perpetual motion. It offers a totally new and unexpected running experience. The textured upper combined with the unique midsole help guide, protect and support runners.

The upper is soft, breathable and made of mesh material. It is designed to reduce irritation and improve comfort. The reinforced tongue and collar together ensure a soft step-in. The upper has a reinforcement around the midfoot and ensures that the shoe sits like a cage around the foot when you tie the laces.

The midsole consists of two types of Repetitor material. Repetitor+ is a firmer EVA foam in the heel area designed to cushion the heel at first ground contact and support the foot during strides, while the Repetitor foam in the midfoot and forefoot is more responsive for an energized push-off. The material consists of 15% recycled foam material. In this way, the Adistar gets a brand new, super light, lightweight midsole that provides a forward movement with enough energy return. This forward movement is enhanced by the rocker geometry of the forefoot with an offset of 6mm.

The Continental outsole offers excellent grip for any distance and is very durable.
