The lightweight upper of the Zoom Rival Fly is made of special mesh material. This material combines ventilation with excellent durability. The internal fitband fits around the midfoot and works closely together with the lace system of the shoe. It provides a seat-belt-like fit and ensures extra support.

The competition shoes have a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. This unit helps to ensure a responsive ride. The Cushlon Foam ensures soft and flexible cushioning with every step you take. The heel features durable, rubber crash pads which help to absorb shocks during impact phase.

The outsole of the competition running shoes have small cleats in a wave-like pattern. This helps to ensure excellent grip and contact with the underground. The Flex grooves in the forefoot optimise heel-to-toe transition.
