- The HOKA Mach 2 for men are neutral running shoes. The renewed Mach 2 is a lightweight competition shoes which offers more cushioning than its predecessor, the Mach 1. The upper has been fully renewed. This upper is more flexible and wraps around the feet comfortably, thereby providing more stability.
The ProFly Dual Density midsole is made of softer material at the heel. This provides more cushioning and shock absorption. The midsole is firmer at the forefoot for more propulsion and energy return. The Mach 2 midsole is made of a rubber foam which ensures a directer feel with the surface and a more natural heel-to-toe transition.
The Mach 2 doesn't have a separate outsole; instead the midsole and outsole have been designed as a single sole. This provides a responsive feel and makes the Mach 2 a lot lighter than its predecessor. -
