Expert Opinion
We offer a wide variety of running shoes, each with its own characteristics. Then how to know in what one model is different from another? To help you with this, we at 21Run present the Expert Opinion. This helps you get insight into the different characteristics of specific running shoe models.

The Expert Opinion is the way in which our running experts rate the model on a number of important elements. Do you already know which characteristics your new running shoes should have? Use the Expert Opinion to check if they meet your demands.

Degree of Pronation
The degree of pronation indicates the extent to which a model provides support for overpronating runners. If the orange bar is on the far right, the model gives a high degree of correction. If the orange bar is on the far left, the model does not correct. Neutral runners don’t need a correction, overpronating runners often do need a certain degree of correction.

Level of Support
The support level indicates to what extent the shoe provides support. This is related to the weight of the runner. If the orange bar is on the far left, the shoe provides little support, making the shoe more suitable for lighter runners. If the orange bar is on the far right, the shoe gives a lot of support, making the shoe very suitable for heavier runners.

Level of Cushioning
The cushioning level indicates the extent to which the shoe absorbs shocks that occur during landing phase. If the orange bar is on the far left, the shoe provides little cushioning. When wearing running shoes that provide little cushioning, you experience a lot of ground contact and responsiveness. If the orange bar is on the far right, the shoe provides a lot of cushioning. When wearing shoes with a lot of cushioning you will experience a softer running feel, but less ground contact and less responsiveness.

Level of Responsiveness
The level of responsiveness indicates how energetic a running shoe feels. We also call this the degree of reactivity. If the orange bar is on the far left, the shoe is less responsive. If the orange bar is on the far right, the shoe is very responsive. When a shoe is responsive you get back the energy you put into your stride during take-off phase.

Description adidas Adizero Boston 9 Men

The adidas Adizero Boston 9 for men are neutral running shoes. The Boston is ideal for your fast endurance trainings or for running races. The Boston almost forces you to go fast. The renewed Engineered Mesh upper provides a snug feel without becoming too rigid. The Microfit technology keeps your heel in place and provides support to the midfoot. To provide more stability, the forefoot has become a bit wider.

The Boost midsole returns a lot of energy and offers effective shock absorption. Even when running on uneven terrain these trainers will attenuate shocks and provide stability thanks to the Boost material. The Boost material in the new Boston 9 is temperature independent; temperatures don't affect its level of cushioning or energy return. This Boost material is combined with adidas' new Lightstrike material in the forefoot. Lightstrike foam is lighter in weight and extremely responsive.

The Continental outsole from the Boston 8 is also seen in the Boston 9. The rubber from tyre giant Continental ensures excellent grip on wet as well as dry roads. You will also experience optimal traction that pulls you forward with every step you take. The Torsion System stimulates a flexible heel-to-toe transition. The new adidas Adizero Boston 9 is ideal for runners who want to break their PBs, but also desire cushioning and a good feel for the underground.
