It took Nike quite some time to release the successor to the Structure 22. Our patience is now rewarded: the new model is better than ever. The upper material has been completely renewed and adapts perfectly to your feet. While the Structure was originally a reasonably hard and pretty stiff shoe, the Structure 23 is noticeably softer thanks to its new midsole. This will let you enjoy some additional cushioning. It might also, however, make the shoe feel less supportive for runners who are heavy overpronators.

Ventilation and Support
The Nike Structure 23 has perforations in the toe and midfoot area. These help ensure good ventilation. The upper material adapts perfectly to your foot and thus offers the necessary support. The woven heel area allows for a snug fit and keeps your foot in place throughout your runs.
Even though the Structure 23 has become a bit softer, the shoe still provides the support that the Zoom Structure model is known for. Your feet almost “sink” into the wider midsole. Making the shoe into an extension of your foot.
Responsive CUSHIONING
A Zoom Air element in the forefoot ensures responsive cushioning. Now where did we see this before? In the Pegasus 37. Placing the Zoom Air Unit underneath the forefoot is the ideal solution for runners who mainly run on their mid and forefeet.Thanks to the Air Unit you’ll get back the energy you put into your strides.
The softness of the Structure 23 comes from the foam midsole. This new version of the Structure offers you more cushioning than the previous one, but – due to the softer material – it can feel less supportive for heavy pronators.
ROLLING MADE EASY
In developing the Air Zoom Structure 23, Nike used data from hundreds of runners. This data helped with the placement of the so-called crash pad on the heel. This pad provides additional cushioning when rolling from heel to toe.
The woven material on the heel provides additional stability and ensures that the heel stays in place during your run. The tongue and collar are also softer when compared to the Structure 22. This provides you with more comfort than ever before.
