ASICS GT-1000 10 GS Kids

The ASICS GT-1000 10 GS for children are all-round running shoes that provide stability for light-overpronators. GS in the titel stands for Grade School, therefore the shoes are suitable for children from the age of four. These 10th version of the GT-1000 feature a renewed upper. The mesh upper shapes itself after the feet, which ensures a sock-like fit without becoming too rigid. Extra structure has been added in strategical places to provide some additional support. The Ortholite in lays provide a soft step-in and a lot of comfort.

The FLYTEFOAM midsole provides effective cushioning. The model provides less cushioning than the GT-2000. Although the GT-1000 definitely provides stability for overpronating runners it can't match the stability provided by the GT-2000. This is because the GT-1000 applies ASICS' DUOMAX technology in a different manner. One of the big advantages of this different approach is that the shoes are lighter in weight and provide a better feel for the underground. The GT-1000 10 therefore is the ideal shoe for runners who like to have a directer feel and who only overpronate lightly. The Gel technology in the heel ensures excellent cushioning when landing over the heel.

The rubber outsole has grooves in the forefoot that provide some extra flexibility during toe off. The outsole is durable and provides excellent grip and traction.
