The AfterShokz OpenMove are wireless headphones that employ bone conduction technology. The OpenMove uses the PremiumPitchTM2.0 (this is the 7th generation of the innovative bone conduction technology by AfterShokz). The OpenMove is fitted in front of the ears on the cheekbones. The sound waves are transferred through the cheekbones to the inner ear. This leaves your ear canals open, allowing you to remain alert and aware of ambient sounds while you enjoy your music. Hereby keeping you safe.
The battery of the OpenMove lasts for up to 6 hours and it only takes 2 hours to fully charge the battery again (in Stand-By mode the battery lasts up to 10 days). The battery is charged with a USB-C charger. The headphones are water-repellent, a light drizzle or transpiration isn't a problem. Be careful though, because the OpenMove isn't waterproof. The headphones also have a Dual Noise Canceling microphone, thanks to which you will experience as little ambient noise as possible. The headphones are easily connected to your phone via the Bluetooth 5.0 connector.
The Aftershokz OpenMove are really good headphones that feature the unique bone conduction technology. On top of that they are competitively priced. The model is ideal for during your runs, but thanks to its stylish design can also be use in daily life. Would you rather have headphones that are waterproof? Then have a look at the AfterShokz Aeropex.
