The adidas Alphaedge 4D for men and women are neutral running shoes. The Primeknit upper has a flexible feel. Because the upper is one single piece, it feels like putting on a sock. To ensure that the foot does get some support, Forgedmesh has been added to the shoe. The combination of Forgedmesh and a single piece upper ensures that the upper fits snugly around the feet. Reflective material has been woven into the upper and helps to keep you visible in low-light conditions. Thanks to its thinness, the upper is highly breathable and keeps the feet cool, especially when running in warm conditions.

The futuristic 4D midsole is made with 3D print technology and the 4D Digital Light Synthesis process. Thanks to this the midsole provides precise support and cushioning. The Aramis 3D Motion technology recorded movement in the feet of a large number of runners for over 17 years. This data was used for the design of the Alphaedge 4D midsole. A midsole which lays its full focus on the prevention of pressure points and irritation while running. The heel has been designed to provide excellent cushioning, and the forefoot propels you forward and returns energy every step of the way.

The outsole of the adidas Alphaedge 4D is made of Continental rubber which is also found in car tyres. This provides excellent grip and traction to the outsole, even when running in wet conditions. It also helps to divide the pressure over the feet during the landing phase. The adidas Alphaedge 4D has been designed for short as well as long distances.
