Altra Olympus 4 Men

The Altra Olympus 4 for men are neutral trail running shoes. The Olympus has been designed to provide maximum comfort and is the shoe with the most cushioning in Altra's trail running shoe collection. The Altra Olympus is ideal for running long trails. The technical Mesh upper fits snugly around the feet. The overlays provide extra structure to the upper thanks to which you'll experience targeted support around the midfoot. The upper allows you to attach a gaiter to keep out dirt, sand and stones encountered during your trails. The anatomically moulded forefoot provides a lot of room to the toes so they can move around freely.

The midsole provides highly effective cushioning. Thanks to this you'll experience a little less responsiveness. The Olympus therefore is also a little less suitable for running at a fast pace. For long endurance trails the Olympus however is excellent. The material is durable because of which the shoes will accompany you for many miles to come. The MegaGrip Vibram outsole has cleats that provide effective grip and traction on paved as well as unpaved roads. Altra's unique selling point is their Zero Drop approach. This entails that the midsole has the same height at the heel and the toes, thereby ensuring a natural running experience. The Olympus 4 of course also features this 0 millimetre offset.
