Wrist-based heart rate monitor
The Forerunner 235 uses optical sensors which measure your heart rate at the wrist 24/7. It allows you to record your hear rate during your runs without the use of a chest strap. The colourful tracker shows your heart rate zones and beats per minute in real-time.

Every runner is unique and each runner has individual goals. Download the advanced workouts and training plans on to your watch through Garmin Connect and use them to achieve your personal goals. You can even adapt data fields, watch faces and widgets, or download apps through Connect IQ.

Run wherever you want: on the streets, in the forrest or on the track
The built-in pace tracker records distance and pace data during indoor training or training on the treadmill without the need for an extra sensor. After your run the watch functions as an activity tracker which records your step-count and burned calories through out the day. The watch also encourages you to move after you've sat still for one hour. The Forerunner 235 is compatible with GPS and GLONASS satellites and thereby knows to locate you quick and accurately, also when running in the forrest or in the cities high rises.
