We offer a wide variety of running shoes, each with its own characteristics. Then how to know in what one model is different from another? To help you with this, we at 21Run present the Expert Opinion. This helps you get insight into the different characteristics of specific running shoe models.
The Expert Opinion is the way in which our running experts rate the model on a number of important elements. Do you already know which characteristics your new running shoes should have? Use the Expert Opinion to check if they meet your demands.
Degree of Pronation
The degree of pronation indicates the extent to which a model provides support for overpronating runners. If the orange bar is on the far right, the model gives a high degree of correction. If the orange bar is on the far left, the model does not correct. Neutral runners don’t need a correction, overpronating runners often do need a certain degree of correction.
Level of Support
The support level indicates to what extent the shoe provides support. This is related to the weight of the runner. If the orange bar is on the far left, the shoe provides little support, making the shoe more suitable for lighter runners. If the orange bar is on the far right, the shoe gives a lot of support, making the shoe very suitable for heavier runners.
Level of Cushioning
The cushioning level indicates the extent to which the shoe absorbs shocks that occur during landing phase. If the orange bar is on the far left, the shoe provides little cushioning. When wearing running shoes that provide little cushioning, you experience a lot of ground contact and responsiveness. If the orange bar is on the far right, the shoe provides a lot of cushioning. When wearing shoes with a lot of cushioning you will experience a softer running feel, but less ground contact and less responsiveness.
Level of Responsiveness
The level of responsiveness indicates how energetic a running shoe feels. We also call this the degree of reactivity. If the orange bar is on the far left, the shoe is less responsive. If the orange bar is on the far right, the shoe is very responsive. When a shoe is responsive you get back the energy you put into your stride during take-off phase.
The ASICS GT-2000 8 Lite-Show for women are running shoes for overpronators. These special Lite-Show editions of the GT-2000 8 features reflective elements that help to keep you safe after dark. The GT-2000 8 is the 8th version of the GT-2000 model. These shoes for overpronators have been designed for long distance running. These shoes for overpronators have been designed for running longer distances. The largest adaption is found in the midsole. The model has also become more flexible and provides a smoother ride. The upper, made of Engineered Mesh material, has become thinner. This has improved the breathability and the moisture management of the shoes. Your feet will stay dryer and fresher in these newest GT-2000 editions.
The Solyte midsole of the GT-2000 7 has been replaced with the Flytefoam midsole. The Flytefoam cushioning material is lighter of weight and returns more energy than the Solyte foam. This creates a more responsive feel during your runs. More GEL has also been added to the forefoot and the heel to ensure more cushioning. The forefoot is more flexible thanks to the full-width grooves. This helps smoothen out your heel-to-toe transition.
The Dynamic Duomax technology and the Trusstic System offer stability and support for overpronators by preventing the feet from rolling inward. The outsole is durable and ensures effective shock absorption, thereby letting you run further with the ASICS GT-2000 8.
