The upper material of the HOVR Mega 2 Clone is called: Clone. This upper material is highly flexible. So flexible that it’s even stretchy. The material is also extremely light – you will feel the difference right away. Clone adapts itself to the shape of your foot and thereby ensures a personalised fit. Next to that Clone is also very breathable.
The Mega 2 Clone has a HOVR midsole. This technology ensures that energy is returned to you with every step you take. The midsole of this model is made a little bit thicker than usual. Expressed in numbers, this means that the Mega 2 Clone has a midsole which is 29 mm thick where regular models only are 21 mm thick in the forefoot area. What does this mean for your running experience? A very smooth experience all through your heel-to-toe transition. The shoe also provides some additional support thanks to the reinforcement in the heel area. Then there’s the rubber outsole which has a unique pattern that ensures a lot of traction.
