Stability with every stride
Designed for overpronators, the Vongo v5 offers the perfect combination of support and softness. New Balance developed the Vongo model as a stability version of the the well-known 1080. The full-length Fresh Foam midsole provides constant cushioning while the Medial Post helps correct overpronation.
What’s new?
The fifth version of the Vongo series also features a Fresh Foam midsole. An additional 5 millimetres of foam have been added on the inside though. Thanks to this you can benefit from even more stability during landing and transition. The shoe’s fit has also been improved. The materials used in the heel and around the ankle are a lot stiffer, thanks to which you’ll experience a more supportive fit.
Some extra support
The upper is made of breathable Hypoknit material. The special embroidery in the upper provides zonal support. Thanks to this the shoes fit firmly around your feet!
Engineered comfort
The Fresh Foam midsole over the entire length of the shoes provides constant cushioning during your runs. Next to cushioning it als provides a springy and comfortable feel.
Agility
The midsole of the Fresh Foam Vongo v5 has an angled sole. This encourages a heel-to-toe transition.
