The “See Sport Rise” collection by adidas features running shoes and clothing. Apart from the famous racing models adidas also presents the Ultraboost 21, the Solarboost 3, the Solar glide 4 and the Supernova models in the same white and red colourway.
Medal hungry adidas athletes competing on the track might be seen wearing the brand new Adizero Avanti. The design features Lightstrike Pro material. This material consists of three layers of resilient foam and keeps you energized. A track-adapted version of the Energy Rods technology has also been used in this model. The Rods are infused with glass fiber, which next to providing the right degree of stiffness also ensures sufficient flexibility.
The Adios Pro is designed for running a fast marathon. The carbon plate underneath the heel and the carbon-infused EnergyRods are encapsulated in two layers of LightstrikePRO material. The EnergyRods are moulded after the shape of the foot and mirror the metatarsal bones. They return a lot of energy, thereby creating an energetic and responsive toe off.
Although adidas athletes will not be wearing this model during their races and events, the 4DFWD will still be on display. Why? Because for adidas athletes this is the shoe of choice for during the medal ceremonies. The idea behind the adidas 4DFWD is to propel you forward. If you use it for running, the vertical pressure will be converted to horizontal force. Simply put; you’ll experience a continuous forward push.

The HOKA ONE ONE Carbon X2 has a carbon plate that is placed closer to the outsole of the shoe. It is integrated between the PROFLY midsole and the EVA outsole. It allows you to go through transition quickly and smoothly and returns a lot of energy.
A carbon plate is just a piece of carbon when it doesn’t have the right foam around it. To fill this gap, Saucony developed PWRRUN-PB foam. This foam provides more cushioning an ensures a comfortable running experience. What’s more, PWRRUN-PB is 40% lighter than the EVA material used in many of Saucony’s other running shoes.
