KEEP RUNNERS RUNNING

The completely new solution to the problem of running related injuries is found in the Nike ZoomX Invincible Run. A new step in a quest for the perfect harmony between cushioning, stability and rocker geometry.

The Nike ZoomX Invincible Run has been specially designed for overpronating runners, but can also be used by neutral runners who start overpronating slightly when they get tired. This shoe is made for long training runs. The midsole of the Invincible has more foam than the Infinity and thanks to this provides a more cushioned ride. Nike ZoomX foam is responsive and light, and provides a springy feel with every step you take. The Rocker design is made of foam and provides support through the three phases of heel-to-toe transition (the landing phase, transition phase and toe off phase). The rocker provides a cushioned experience during landing, a smooth feel during transition and a lot of flexibility during take off. The rocker geometry and the wider … in the forefoot help create a stable fit and a smooth transition; thereby making the Invincible ideal for long distance runners.

The specially designed Flyknit upper ensures better ventilation there where you need it most. The material is sturdy and thereby helps to keep the feet in place during long distance runs.

Keeps you strong and carrying on

The Nike React Infinity has been updated. Nike has refined the shape of the shoe and made the model overall more effective. The result: the Nike React Infinity Run 2. These running shoes provide stability and support for overpronators, but don’t do this in the traditional way. Thanks to their innovative way of approaching overpronation, the shoes are also suitable for neutral runners who start overpronating when fatigued. The shoes feature the new Flyknit upper that provides more support and improves the breathability of the shoe. Nike has also added Flywire cables to the shoes, thanks to which the complete upper provides better support.

The Nike React foam provides revolutionary cushioning and energy return. React foam is the technology that provides you in all your needs: its soft, springy, lightweight and durable. What more do you need? The durable React cushioner also makes these shoes very suitable for running middle-distance runs.

52% LESS INJURIES

Put on the Infinity and you immediately experience a stable and energetic feel. The springy React foam is ready to shred through some miles. The Rocker geometry encourages an active stance of the feet and provides a natural inclination to go forward.

Thanks to these characteristics, the Nike React Infinity Run 2 is best suited for middle-long distance endurance runs at an average pace. Research shows that runners who run in the Nike React Infinity Run have 52% less chance of injury. Users of the Infinity say that they experience less pain in their knees and feet.

The Finishing Lines

Who doesn’t want to stay injury free? Disclaimer: it, of course, stays important to find a shoe that suits your feet and running style. When the Infinity isn’t suitable for you, you can still run the risk of getting injured.

It can be quite a challenge to find a shoe that is stable and energetic, and also provides enough support for overpronators. Both the Infinity and the Invincible know to achieve this. The difference between the two is that the Invincible has more foam in the midsole. The Invincible therefore provides a softer feel and is ideal for long distance runs, where the infinity is best for middle-long distance runs. Because the Invincible doesn’t feature this foam, and therefore isn’t as soft, it is an ideal shoe for longer endurance runs. The Invincible uses ZoomX foam instead of React foam, thanks to this the Invincible is also more responsive than the Infinity. The fit of both models is quite wide, so when you have narrow feet you might have to tie the laces tighter than usual.
